Hi, every time I click the icon to go on the internet, the following message appears, (C:\ProgramFiles\Accessories\Scripter.exe (1):'MZ':Syntax error). Please can you help.RegardsTablet
Right click Internet Explorer > Properties > connection > settings Make sure that USE AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION SCRIPT is NOT TICKED.
Hearing the words "Syntax Error" takes me back to the bad old commodore 64 days.A fairly rare error in the new (better) days.
Hi Switcher, I followed your instructions without success,I Right clicked Internet Explorer > Properties >, But could not find ("connection > settings").RegardsTablet
TabletFollow the instructions as above, but there are two settings windows and the one you want is lower right, think it says LAN settings, click on that and you will see, USE AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION SCRIPT. that is the one to untick J.
Hi Djohn,I followed your instructions and found the,USE AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION SCRIPT. but thebox was not ticked.RegardsTablet
Synatx errors usually mean (i think so anyway) a missing character (command line, address bar)...Whatever icon you are clciking on, do a search on your computer for it and just replace the icon on your desktop with it.
Next time hit the keys in the correct order.
