Synchronise folders

  oseven 11:47 18 Feb 2005

I have two hard drives ,one of which I use as a backup for My Documents.
Does any one know of a free application to automatically keep the second drive updated.

Yes, Windows "Briefcase".

Create a new Briefcase in the "backup" hard drive and then drag any foders you want to sync from your main drive to the backup drive. Periodically, use the option to Update Briefcase and it will tell you which folders/files need to be updated, then click Update.

"Briefcase" should already be available as part of Windows, you didn't need to download it from anywhere. Right click a blank part of the Desktop, select "New" then "Briefcase".
