Symbol for 'degrees' in Excel

Hi - is there one anywhere? I've gone cross eyed looking through the character map. I could do a super script in Word, but is there an equivalent for Excel, please?

Try format menu\Cells\Font tab. There is a superscript option there.

Thanks - that's really infuriating! I looked in Format but cells was greyed out.... It isn't now, though...

Or Alt + 0176 will give the degree symbol as well!

Thanks for the info: don bates and TonyV. Something I have been wanting for ages.

I see that Alt + 0176 gives a smaller degree symbol than Alt + 0186.
