Effective November 30th, 2005 all Sygate products and forum support will be discontinued.

It was only a matter of time When Symantec got there hands on it.

Oh crikey! It was to be expected, of course.

Certainly not moving to Symantec anything.

I suppose the current Sygate will continue to function OK or will the devious Symantec send something over the ether to disable it?

I assume that the current free version will continue to work - neither Symantec nor anyone else can disable it over the ether :-)

I've benn using it for about 4 years now and am wondering where to go next when I need to...

That's sad.

Although I use Zone Alarm, I have used Sygate in the past and very much regret this development

The big yellow monster seems keen to devour all its competitors, doesn't it. If you can't beat 'em, buy 'em up!
