Sygate firewall has started to block IP addresses that has never tried to 'reach' me before. Sygate is blocking all attempts, but I'm wondering why on earth anyone is doing this!!!I have the destination host if that helps: 220.127.116.11What on earth is going on?!
click here+ That is an AOL address, is your ISP AOL, if so these attempts are all handshakes which is perfectly normal.
Relax, Sygate is protecting you. If you want to see how effective it is click here
Is your ISP AOL?If it is their just probably checking your computer is still connected. It's harmless and your firewall is working.
I have done a few backtraces, and I have found that most of the incoming transmissions are from france telecom...................eh?!I'll have a look at that link nowFrance telecom?!
AND yes my ISP is AOL!!!!!!
Your ISP is America Online and you're being attacked by the French. It is well known that the French hate Americans (and every other nation) - don't worry about it.
How do I unblock the signals I'm recieveing?I went into the advanced rules section, but I can't find anything to let it pass.Any ideas?
