Switching to Broadband. Info please

Hi everyone. I'm thinking of biting the bullet and switching to Broadband. Any info on internal vs external modems [and recommendations]. Also fixed vs roving IP address. I don't host a web site. Believe a roving IP address is more secure than a fixed one ? Cheers K

I use Telewest blueyonder and think it is very good click here

Cable isp,s usually supply all the equipment you need except a nic but they only cost about £10

ADSL broadband may charg you sor modem etc.

Sorry dont know much about the difference between static and roving ip addresses! but dont find a problem with security

As for biting the bullet! if you use the net a lot then do it you wont regret it.
