The Laptop l bought secondhand a couple of months ago (Acer Travelmate 2350)is now displaying the notice this is not a genuine version of Win XP Pro,so before l go back on line with my Laptop l want to transfer all my Music(14.7G)an Pictures (7G)onto my Home PC(Dell 3100)using a Sweex USB-USB linkcable now lm somthing of a novice to the IT world but it sounded simple in the manual and it looked to be easy just drag an drop but when l do this it dose not transfer all my Music/Pictures lve tryed going to the Sweex website but maybe because of my *[email protected]:ty home connection (16.8Kbps)it tells me nothing an l cant seem to get to the areas l want to
Any advice/Help with my problems would be much appreciated

Do any files at all transfer? If so try transferring them a few at a time rather than all in one go.

Do you get any error messages, if so what are they?
