Swearing on Wikipedia?

I happened to click on to the Wikipedia site this morning to be greeted with some foul language. Now as a person who is not unknown to swear a bit myself from time to time this does not bother me, but I am rather curious as how this come about.

Has someone managed to infect the Wikipedia system or is it my computer that has had some virus put on it. As my Avast system has not reported anything I assume it is a Wikipedia problem.

I am rather surprised that Wikipedia would be a victim of such a virus as I would have thought that their security would be top-notch.

Here is the offending link assuming the swearing has not been removed by now. click here

I believe wikipedia pages are written to and edited by anyone with an account. This was obviously done by someone with little or no intelligence and having nothing better to do.

I suppose you would have to register to report it.

I am rather glad that you two also saw it, at least I was not seeing things.
Thanks for the response.

Wikipedia is a favourite site for hackers who like to mess with websites,

I wouldnt be surprised if it was a hacker attack.
