I'm about to swap my Dads 32mb pci nvidia gcard for a 128MB DDR nvidia AGP card.

The PC currently has nvidia drivers from about Feb.

Will it therefore be simply a case of taking out the old and putting in the new, or do I need to remove the detonator drivers and reinstall them when the new agp card is in?

Thanks.

Remove the old ones before changing the cards....then reinstall the drivers.

if you have an agp slot no problem.first off go to control panel/system/device manager and right click the display adapter and choose uninstall shut down remove the old card insert the new one turn on and install the latest drivers from click here
