A friend of mine and myself have noticed a slowdown of our pc's and the odd error message coming up "svhost.exe has caused an error...."I have just deleted my system and imaged a virgin copy back in its place. All running well at the moment...but 1 min from startup my norton firewall alerted me to an incoming 'low risk' attempt to access my pc.The details are something like windows/system..../svhost.exeI have blocked it for now.Is it this thats causing the slowdown etc?thanks
Are you sure it's svhost & not svchost. If it is schost have alook here click here
Meant to add this for svchost click here=
The first link works OK in Netscape
Ignore it. Can't understand why it's not working. Just open google and key svchost - K
