svchost - pf file?

I have noticed some strange behaviour on my computer running XP Pro SP1 and I see that I have SVCHOST.EXE-3530F672.pf in the C:\windows\prefetch folder. This does not seem right.

I have Ad watch, NAV 2004 and ZOne Alarm Pro 4.5 Spy Bot and Ad aware but they report nothing unusual. Should I be concerned?

Are you sure it's svchost & not scvhost ? If it's scvhost you've got a worm and need to remove it. You can get info from [email protected]" title="http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/[email protected]" TARGET="_new">click here

Well. It still could be a worm. I entered svchost pf into google and what I found suggested it's the W32.BlueCode.Worm. Suggest you do the same and follow one of the links to a fix.
