Suspect e-mail

Today have received a dodgy e-mail.Address is [email protected](i believe this can be forged)and Subject is Hi plus an attachment.Have received 4 dubious e-mails over the last three days.Have deleted all of them without opening.Did I do right?

yes, rule of thumb is to never open an email from an address you know nothing about.

Yes, delete anything you are suspicious about.

But, providing you have the Preview Pane DISABLED (should be permanent!) by highlighting the e-mail with one click and selecting Properties, you can view the header and, from Message Source, the actual e-mail.

If dodgy keep cancelling and then, with the e-mail still highlighted, delete it using the Task Bar's Delete button.
