One quick question. I now have three versions on my PC; should I uninstall the two earlier versions?

According to the sun jave site click here

Version 5.0 Update 9 is the latest version and when i verify my install this is what i have?.

  Simsy 19:16 23 Nov 2006

I downloaded from the link sunny staines provided and subsequently verified via your link and it verifies OK and says I have version 10.

It seems to be working OK.

The link has always proved reliable. I have no answer as to why sun java does not have update 10, unless some sites are allowed pre release downloads like cinemas with big films.

I also noticed that the Sun website still had version nine but, like Simsy, it's version 10 from sunny staines's link.

As ACOLYTE above, my Java is set to download updates automatically. The last was on 13th Nov, version 1.5.09 and when clicking on update just now, was told that it is up to date and I have latest version !
