Streaming IP cameras

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I stream a D-Link DCS 3500G camera using Windows media encoder. I need 3 programms running on a dedicated computer. D-Link monitor to bring the picture into the computer, Camtasier to grab the picture and present it to the encoder. This takes up all the processing power of the computer. The output from the camera is in MPEG4 format which the media encoder doesn`t recognise. Does anyone know of an easier way of getting the encoder to recognise the camera.
Regards
Terry

Hmm, sorry I can't help with your question - but just a comment about your link ... Advertising on the Forum is much frowned upon!
