streaky prints/ canon i9100

My canon i9100 has started giving grief, ie streaky prints almost too wet, and also a cyan cast. I have cleaned the inkjets, deep clean as well realigned printheads, all the usual stuff associated with this kind of problem. I've also replaced the cartridges which I got from Box-Shift, never had any problems with these before and have used them for the last couple of years with good results they are Realjet True Color. I begrudge paying the excessive price of Canon, any ideas

Have you tried uninstalling the printers software and reinstalling?

Have you changed the paper you are using, the make weight type? Some paper/photo paper reacts differently with printers giving better or poorer results.

Can you get some compatible cartridges from a different supplyer?

How old is your printer?

I have stuck to canon pro photo paper, found this to be excellent stuff. Printer is about 3 to4yrs old. I'll give the software a whirl, thanks Josie
