strange problem with my cube247

My computer works perfectly some times.
But at other times nothing comes up on my
monitor when I switch it on.
This is not totally random-it seems more likely
to work if it worked the previous time I
switched it on.
But if I've been on the computer for a number of
hours it's more likely to fail if I try to use
it again within a short period.
It will then almost always fail until I've
left it alone for a long period(overnight).
There is then a good chance that it will start
working again.
This problem started as soon as I received the
computer.
When it was sent back it was nearly 2
weeks before Cube247 looked at it.
It worked when they switched it on.
It seems they assumed that there was no
fault with the computer and sent it back
in the same condition.
It failed again within 24 hours.
Obviouslly I'm not keen on sending it back
to cube247.They expect me to pay the postal
costs and it will be a long time before it's
returned, and there is no guarantee that it
will be fixed.
Has anyone any idea what may be causing this
problem?

Sounds like something is over-heating. Send Cube an email explaining as above and could they suggest any fixes as the machine is still under warranty.

do any lights come on , on the computer tower its self? could it be your monitor that is not workng or are you sure it is the computer?

Thank you for helping.
Over heating does seem a possible explanation.

The lights do come on and the computer sounds
the same on all occassions.
The fault is not with the monitors.

May be the graphics fan is faulty. Suggest this with Cube. Assuming you are still within warranty. They might send a graphics card replacement and you send the original back. Ask for test results for any returned parts if you can replace yourself. Might be cheaper and faster if you can do this. Good luck.
