strange mouse problem

  jammin 09:31 20 Oct 2006

I have a logitech cordless mouse and keyboard
and the mouse has gone a bit strange, batteries are fine, i have loaded the latest drivers but it works ok for a while and then the left click stops working and occassionally the pointer moves erratically, the logitech support site and forum are sadly not able to help

Try going to control panel, uninstal any logitech mouse software then go to device manager, un-installing the mouse and reboot, re-instal logitech mouse software if you find you need it

I had a similar problem and also the battery connection was loose; being so cheap (Argos!)I gave up and binned the thing and just kept the keyboard wireless.

Had the same fault some time back, analysis revealed overheating in one of the chips. Bin it and start again !
