Strange Emails ??????

Has anyone else received an email from some 'Postmaster' in some unheard of place, saying that your email sent to that unlikely place has been treated as spam? It has got to be some kind of scam, but how is it supposed to work, and how did they get my email address in the first place?

lodger,

It is most likely that your email address has been harvested from somewhere - someone's address book, a web site or somewhere else - and has been used by a spammer. The postmaster is an automated response which has been sent to the apparent source of the spam - you!

If it only happens once or twice, don't worry about it.

Regards,

Felix

..... a survey to fill in from "Dipstick.com", called a DipSurvey and would only take "20 minutes" to fill in.
