Strange email - advise please

Hello everyone. I have just found this email in my mailbox and, cynical old thing that I am, this screams "Scam!!"

Anyone else received one of these and if so is tempted, like me to delete it? There was something familiar going around a few years ago. What do you think?


We happily notify you of the draw of the Email Lottery Ballot / World Gaming Board Sweepstakes program held on the 31th of January, 2006. Your email address attached to ticket Nr: DNL02301487904/05 drew Lucky Nrs: 05-11-44-37-10-43, which subsequently won you the lottery in the 1st category. You have therefore been approved to claim a total sum of One Million Euro only in cash credited to file REF Nr: DNL/2651046GD003708. This is from a total cash prize of Nine Million Euro only, shared amongst the nine winners in this category.

On the right hand side of your keyboard is the delete button , use it !

Anything that seems to good to be true usually is.As soon as you email them they will say something like to retrieve the cash you must send us x amount of pouns as registartion fee or some load of baloney like that , just delete it.

Scam too soon turns into virus. Delete without opening and then run you anti virus programme

Definate scam if you did not buy a ticket,nobody gives money away.

The email is riddled with so many impossibles it's almost laughable. Delete it and move on.
