Stop error; help!

Windows Xp pro refuses to boot up using one computer, spitting the code 0x0000007B at me (I gather this means inaccessible boot device). However, if I plug the disk into another machine it works fine. The problem just came out of nowehere after I replaced the PSU and started attacking the voluminous number of spywares and assorted nonsense which someone had accumulated on it. Like I say, no problems booting from the disk with another system; I've taken the original apart and put it all back together again just in case, cleaned/regreased the heatsink, everything. Can anyone offer any suggestions because I just don't see how the disk can be inaccesible from one (superior) system and not the other! Ta in advance.

most modern motherboards will not work with a hard drive that has an os on it from another mobo. Format and clean install on a hard drive connected to the mobo and load all drivers then all should be well.
