stepped startup programs

A few months ago I read in either PC Advisor or ComputerActive about a programm that allowed you to space out your start up programs and each one started after a given amount of time. This speeded up the startup process as each program had its own time slot. I downloaded the program and cannot find it - does anyone know the name of the program so I could trace it on my computer

There are several "startup manager" type programs around, so you might find it if you search your C drive for programs called startup*.

Thanks to both - but gongoozler hit the nail on the head - so simple I shpould have thought of it myself!!! The file is Startup Delayer and is in a folder called 'R2Studio' - I would never have found it but for your help - again thanks to both.
