Hi all

When I use steam and I started the game it crashes once the game has loaded but I dont get to see the bluescreen. I do have the latest drivers unless there are updates to come with steam.

Try this:

Open up your steam client and goto the Program Area, right click on the the game and goto properties and "Varify Game Creche" and also Defragment Game files.

Chrissul Hope I'm not stating the obvious here, but has Steam fully loaded? It does tend to crash windows on occasions! Can you connect to your Steam account? If so go to my games and check that they are 100% ready to play, and that your account is fully uptodate.

hi yes sorry I should of stated more steam is fully loaded and halflife 2 ep 2 is up to date. it happens when the game is loaded and I click new game and it loads into the game then 5 seconds after its a blue screen which there isnt anything on it. Once the laptop has rebooted I get an error report saying its recovered from a serious error and I am not sure if you have clicked the link maybe its to do with grahics drivers.

Have a look here (scroll down to minimum requirements). It looks like that your laptop isn't powerful enough to run it!! Sorry!. (If its any consolation I had the same problem with my laptop when HL2 came out - ended up buying new computer!!).
