Startup options

When starting W2k get the option of three versions to boot from, have unticked option in Startup so it does not show, but how do i remove the options completely, have looked through registry but not sure what i am looking for.

I think you would need to edit the boot.ini file but not bieng a W2K user i wouldnt know where that is for that OS.

Yes, you edit the boot.ini file ; it is in the root folder of C drive

usually c:\boot.ini

Be sure to have a copy first; also it is a hidden file so you have to set windows to show it.

The boot.ini file is in the root in W2K; however it is a hidden read only file
Editing the boot.ini will remove unwanted star up options

Problem solved, edited boot.ini in notepad, spot on advice as usual.
