Startup entry with empty boxes instead of a file

  Awestruck 22:50 30 Jul 2006

Using msconfig and Start up tab I have an entry as follows

Tick box Empty box Empty box

If I remove the tick and then restart, either the box is ticked, or a duplicate of this file is listed in the start-up list and its box is ticked.

HijackThis includes this entry:

O4 HKLM\..\Run: [restrictanonymous] Empty box

Can anyone explain what this start-up entry is?

can't explain, but download and run "Startup inspector" click here and that may be able to tell you what it is. This prog. was recommended to me in the helproom last week.
