Start up programs

When i turn on my computer (whch takes eges) and pres Ctrl+Alt+Delete to show all the programs that are runging it shows about 20 programs which i know there shouldnt be that meny, half of them i dont even know what they are, how do you get to change what programs are in this dialog box???

Go to Start, Run and type msconfig in the dialog box, press Enter. Hit the Startup tab and you will find a list of programs which run on Startup. Untick the box next to those programs which you no longer want.

Go to Start > RUN > Type: MSCONFIG > Startup > Take the ticks out of the little boxes...

Any strange behaviour... Just add the ticks back then remove them one by one.

If a program still starts go into that program and there should be option to "Run when windows start" or something similar. Uncheck it...
