I tried to install a USB modem on my computer but the installation failed. Now, when I start up windows, I get a succession of messages saying, in turn, that:
vnetsup.vxd
vnetbios.vxd
vredir.vxd
dfs.vxd
ndiswan.vxd
msnp32.dll
cannot be found. I press enter each time the message appears and eventually, windows 98 opens.
How can I remove the messages?

I searched Google for vnetsup.vxd and found click here (amongst others. You may find the answer here. Maybe you need to reinstall the modem to replace the missing files. Worth a try.
