SSL Protocol Alert

  The Brown Rock 21:02 12 May 2006

When logging in to `Amazon UK` I got the following on screen: "SSL Protocol Alert. The SSL protocol version that your browser uses is
SSLv2 and it is not compatible with the server settings. Check the SSL protocol settings on your browser for SSLv3/TLSv1 protocol support and enable same."
After six years running this system I'm rather surprised to be tolld of the above problem. Friends, - Can the above be the case, and if so how do I carry out the instructions given.

Go to tools-internet options-advanced-scroll to the bottom and tick 'use SSL 3.0'.

I approach PC Advisor Forum with great confidence in that I will have my problem resolved and as usual thanks to GANDALF on this occasion very speedily so.
Thanks from The Brown Rock
