What is the point of keeping SpywareBlaster going when elelemts of it seem to be so easily disabled by incoming 'nasties'? Every time I get hijacked or whatever, I can guarantee that when I bring up SpywareBlaster on the screen, some of it has been disabled.

Spywareblaster can't do everything by itself.
What other protection programs have you got installed???

Wak I've got AVG, Adaware, Spybot and MS Antispyware plus the usual XP filters and precautions.

Have you got a firewall??
I find Sygate Personal Firewall very good but there are others to choose from.
