Today and yesterday Windows Defender identified "Adware:Win32/generic A --high risk trojan" running on one of my machines just as Spyware Terminator started its countdown for the daily scan. Both programs have been running on the machine for a long time without any apparent conflict. Has there been any change recently in automatic updates for either program which might cause this.I allowed Defender to remove the "Trojan"

The company that made Spyware Terminator used to be on the Rogue antispyware list not so long ago. I'd scrap it if I were you.
Two different programs with same name "no trial version available - Please note that this is not the same program as Crawler.com's "Spyware Terminator," a popular freeware application [A: 2-26-05 / U: 9-7-07]"
click hereI still wouldn't trust it even if it has been de-listed.
