Spyware freeware

Since suffering from a homepage hijack, I`m
currently running "Spybot" and "Adaware". I`m
happy with "Adaware" but not to keen on "Spybot". Any suggestions for a superior
replacement? Must be freeware.
Regards,
Greywolf.

I think those two are the most popular. AdAware is my personal favourite.

Although I've no personal knowledge of this programme a lot of forum members have had good things to say about it...click here ..alB

spybot and adaware are probably the best combination you could have. Spybot often picks up what adaware misses. Spybot is quite complicated and it is worth going through the faq

Thanks folks,
The concensus suggests that I should stick with spybot and adaware. I will probably do just that.
Many thanks to you all for your advice.

Hi, I've recently run both Adaware and Spybot on a WinXP computer and Spybot picked up a possible hijacker which Adaware missed.
I'd confirm that sticking to both is a very good idea.
