i keep getting these ads/pop-ups.

I've scanned using Norton AV2003, Spybot search and destroy 1.3, Lavasoft adaware and a few other programs. They've found and deleted software such as winad.exe and webrebates.exe

However, i still keep getting pop-ups (http:as1.alkag.de/dat/bgf/200409/10/dr.html) and everytime i open up an internet explorer window it automatically goes to click here

XPpro
P4 2.4, 2gb ram
Norton2003 system works/AV/firewall.

Can anyone help? or am i going to have to do a fresh install of XP again?

Thanks in advance.

This is something i don't understand...

I keep seeing post that say make sure you've got the latest version 1.XXX but i've got version 6.181

I don't understand. So many problems. I'd prefer not to reinstall because i'll have all the networking grief again.

are you saying you will have a problem if you update adaware?

I don't understand.
