Spybot and Virtumonde?

I mentioned to my son that my last scan with Spybot was VERY slow; with 344,176 items to scan it had only reached 135,000 after 1 hour and 45 minutes!
He suggested I uninstall, then reinstall Spybot.
This made things a lot better, it went to 135,000 items scanned in 45 minutes. However, it seemed to hang forever over files called 'Virtumonde' - but did not flag them as spyware. Are they spyware? If so, is there a quick, easy, simple way to get rid of them?
Would appreciate any help.

Regards,
Tristar

The link I posted above, gives you step by step instructions on how to remove it.

Sorry, MAJ, I missed that. Have just downloaded the fix, just going out, will run it tomorrow.
Thank you.

Make sure you're downloading VundoFix and
VirtumundoBegone (not Stopzilla) and follow the instructions exactly, tristar.
