Spybot not fixing an item, please help!

  gazmix 12:23 18 Jul 2006

Hi all
I regularly run Spybot & i never have a problem with it fixing what it finds.
Yesterday i ran it & it came up with something called
"Cimuz", when i click to find what it is, it says that it's a registry key, when i click on 'fix prob', it says "file still in use or in memory, this could be fixed after restart, may Spybot start on start up" I've said both yes & no, restared & ran the programme again & nothing, it's still there.
Can anyone help please

Hi all
I downloaded the A2 free download & it found just 3 tracking cookies.
It deleted them, but after i ran Spybot again, the "Cimuz" was still there!
I already have Adaware, Spybot & AVG, i realy don't wanna be filling my pc up with Anti-Virus stuff.
Is there any good online free Malware scans i can do what will remove this Malware?

The Trojan may be caught in memory between restore points.

Disable System Restore and scan with Spybot and/or A2 again

I'm pretty much of a novice here & did a Google search of any online scans & Panda's online scan said it could eliminate it, but this pc has Mozilla firefox & says i haven't the correct browser!

Are there any other online scans that could help, maybe Norton or something?

Thanks, will try these, have just downloaded Spy doctor, it found 24 critical problems & then the free thing went out of the window & i needed to upgrade & pay!
Free online test, yeh right!

Cheers VoG
I'll try these, i just want this "Cimuz" off my system! as Spy Doctor says it's a threat.

Will the above online scans, remove the "Cimuz" trojan or Malware, whatever it is!
The pctools Spydoctor didn't & neither did A2.

have you tried safe mode and the scan with system restore disabled?
