there is a free download of spyblaster in the mag. I have windows 98, so does that mean i can't download it. Windows 9.x is mentioned, is that a misprint and meaning windows 98? thanks for any info.

9.x = win95 (various releases) win 98, win98se and generally speaking WinME too - all those based on a certain code. NT /2k / XP are based on another source code.

Windows 9.x means any windows in the 9 series ie 95, 98, 98se and usually ME it's just a shortcut meaning all these.
