spreadsheet spaces

I use Clarisworks although I suspect that the problem is similar in other spreadsheets.

Having increased the row height, how do I insert more than one row of typing?
Pressing the enter key takes me to the next row.

Does anyone have the answer?

I am not familiar with Clarisworks

In Excel ALT+ENTER works. May be worth a try.

I only use Excel, and when I want to put in several ines of text I do it by formatting the cell(s) to wrap the text. Highlight the cells you want to type into, click format, cells, alignment, then tick the box for wrap text
