Spoofing SpywareBlaster???

click here This looks suspiciously like a cheap attempt to cash in on the real SpywareBlaster at click here. Would I be right? It doesn't look in the slightest bit genuine, referring to two different products.

Yes, looks dodgy - I think the author of Spybot had a similar problem a few months back. Not sure if this `whois` link will work click here

I was surprised to see it - right at the top of Google too, so whoever it belongs to, they have bought a sponsor position. I would have expected Javacool Software to snap up the domain names that people are likely to use for this sort of thing.

When I originally googled for Spyware blaster, this was at the top of the list so I downloaded and then realised that it was not what I thought it was. I quickly uninstalled, cleared out and destroyed with steganos etc. Whatever it took.

I've checked the Spyware Warrior list that URL is included in the rogue sites list.

So avoid!
