Hello all,

How easy/difficult is it to split a Raid (1?) pair? I have three raid pairs, each of the six drives is 1tb. I would like to split them so that the data is preserved on one "half" of the pair, giving me three drives to reformat and use as additional storage.

Having never even considered doing this, the information I could find was pretty spars; a PDF">http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00378986/c00378986.pdf&images=yes">PDF on the subject and a question/answer in another forum. Hope it helps you decide.

That failed as well. Try this and use the second item down.
