i recently started using MP3Direct Cut to split music files, which was great until....

it won't load any WMA files even though they are only the size of an mp3 file. it says it doesn't recognise the format. the files it will load are.....mp3, mp2, mus, mpd and cue.

does anyone know of any software that is able to split up a song irrelevant of what format the music is. i need this, please help!!!

Don't know of any offhand - if you're in a hurry, a quick workaround would be to get dbpoweramp converter[+.wma codec],and convert to mp3 for editing.

Try Cool Edit there's a demo version which works for 30 days I think.

Soundforge 6 will do the job if u are willing to pay for it. It's kinda pricy, but well worth it.

Use google to get a link for the website.
