Splitting a 2 page file

  K*B 19:32 23 May 2009

Hello friends, I used Word 2007 to create a 1-page file which has turned unto a 2-page file after setting borders. The second page is however blank and therefore useless and I don't want it. I want to delete this second blank page and be left with a 1-page file. How do I do it? Thanks.

to place the cursor there, and then backspace until the page disappears.

You might have some un-needed paragraph marks etc near the bottom of the final page, which you can delete. Then the empty page should disappear!
If you click the show/hide button(the first click will show them)look for punctuation marks and such in page 2 and delete them.
Hopefully page 2 will then dissapear.

If you want to see what's on the second page use the Show/Hide button to display formatting marks, and then follow FE's advice

What you have on the first page will not quite fit on the page due to reseting the boarders. If after doing as suggestion above you still have the same problem reduce the size of the top/bottom boarders until the page fits.
