Am I correct that there is no spell check for OE6?

Husband relies on it but says its "not there".

His operating system is Windows XP.

If he is correct is there a download he can put on to correct his spelling?

Thanks for the two suggestions.

Have had a quick look at the OE6 installed on XP.When creating mail there is a spell check icon which, when opened will check the item, but it is all in french with no alternatives!

As for option one can you confirm that this is a spell check and not a conventional dictionary type download.

As for option two, yes techy but probably can be negotiated,...with care.

Answer

OE uses the same spell checker as Microsoft Word.

So, if you have MS Word (or Office) installed that will carry over into OE.

To activate the spell check in OE6, do the following: From OE6 goto TOOLS ,Options, Spelling and select the options you want.

You should really be thinking of moving on, from OE6.

Well the answer seems to be that english german and one other language has been deleted from Office 2007 hence the reason why there is no spell check on OE6 any longer.

Another Microsoft effort to get you to upgrade probably or am I a cynic?

As above you have to have MS Office or Word running on the Computer to have a spell checker. Why not download a free one? look in Downloads on the PCA site
