Speed problem with my local network

Hi all,

Previously I have being connected to the internet using a single computer and I could reach up to 600kbs out of 1mbs broadband connection. I use Aztech modem/router in a bridge mode. So I dial from my laptop using PPPoE protocol.

A few days back I bought a Linksys BEFSX41 (router/firewall/vpn) to create a local network at my home. It was connected to the given Aztech modem/router. So Aztech modem is still in bridge mode and the Linksys BEFSX41 act as a router from which I dial to the internet using PPPoE prot.

But when this connection was made, the speed was tremendously degraded. I even can't access some of the websites.

I have also tried to dial from Aztech modem/router above which is configured to act as a router, but the speed was slow too. So it cannot be a problem with the hardware or the routers software because the problem occur in both equipments. I think it has got to be a problem with the configuration but I am not sure what, where...

Have you got any clues. Please help.
