2Mb DSL is 2 Million bits/per second.

230kbits/second is 230 Thousand bits/per second.

The two are worlds apart - one is 10 times more than the other.

Perhaps you mean 230KBytes/second? - this would be what 2Mbit/sec would run at (approx).

In the page you show, you should enter 2,000 in the k/bits box.

Not on a 2Mb connection it isn't. His download speed is what it says - 2 Million bits per second, not 230 Thousand bits per second.

A 2Mb connection is 2 Million bits per second when downloading from the internet - what else did you think it meant?
