Specify Drive Letter for USB Flash Drive

I use a USB drive between two computers. For my ACCESS applications I need to have a common drive letter.

How can I specify a drive letter which is reserved just for the flash drive?

the next available letter to as removable flash drive.
This shows up as such in the removable drive section of ' My computer'

Unless you are in the habit of plugging other drives in and out it will remain the letter allocated.

You can't do anything on the flash drive to make it always take the same letter. You need to change the drive letters on the PCs so that a specific letter is always available.
e.g.
PC1 has two hard drives and one DVD drive
PC2 has one hard drive, one DVD drive and one CD drive.
On PC1 you would move the DVD drive up a letter from E: to F:
On PC2 you move the drive at position E: to F:.
Because these are fixed drives they will keep these letters and E: will be left free for the USB flash drive.

Thanks. I have managed to get both to read the stick as drive A.

I did

It appears that the reason my 'tick' didn't "take" was that I hadn't clicked the box next to it. It was not obvious that this is what is required. Perhaps something more intuitive would be better?
