speakers dead

I have had to reboot.
All ok except no sounds from speakers or to headphones.

Reload your sound driver

Make sure that you have not 'muted' the sound. Go to Start - Control Panel - Sound and Audio Devices, and check all the settings there first then report back.

goto device manager and se if there are any yellow ! in the sound bit if not you could have a look to see if your sound has been muted in control panel>sound and audio>volume or click on little speeker on bottom bar and make sure the volume has no tick in it

also when in Sound and Audio devices from the volume tab click on advance and make sure wave is not muted

went to control panel.
looked at audio. The whole panel was gray. Could not do a thing.

I have used DriverAgent to download sound software and now have sounds from my speakers.
Headset still dead.
