Hiya Ballie,

I cant speak from experience but these have allways had some good reviews in the magazines and beat products a lot dearer LOGITECH X-230 cost roughly about £25 - £35.

Scan and similar outlets sell 2.1 (and above) computer speakers manufactured by hi-fi speaker specialists Altec Lansing and Harmon Kardon at surprisingly reasonable prices.

This is something that you will have to consider.

The sound card could have cost around £80 Retail.

Why waste that quality with speakers that produce aural slurry.

If you can stretch your budget to £150 or so, go for something better. You know it makes sense!

Normally I would fully agree, but a good 2.1 set of speakers is not the same, price wise, as a good 5.1 or higher set of speakers...:-)
