SPAM .....delete or bounce...?

I am fortunate in that I get no spam whatsoever via my normal Talktalk email addy and using Thunderbird as my email client.
I do however still have my original freeserve addy which I access only via the Orange webmail site and that attracts a lot of spam. (It harks back to the old Windows 95 days when one was not particularly savvy or careful about online security)
I have downloaded and set up Mailwasher specifically for that address and it is working perfectly - intercepting everything on the way in.
The question is should I let it just delete the mail or should I allow it to bounce the mail back to the spammer? I believe it sends a "Fake,Address not Found" message when you allow it to do so?

Don't bounce - simply because it justs adds to the congestion on the internet.

DO NOT bounce spam email, you are just confirming your existence and will probably receive more than you get now, JUST DELETE....
