I have recently reinstalled Windows XP home edition. I have a problem with Media Player. It is saying that I have no sound card installed or there is a problem with the one I have. I went into device manager and found a warning sign against the following under Other Devices:- Ethernet Controller, Multimedia Audio Controller, SM Bus Controller and Video Controller ( VGA Compatible) Any help please.

If you install Aida32 click here it'll tell you what the devices are so you can go to sites to get latest drivers. Sometimes if you reinstall drivers via M$ online in device manager it'll sort out the basic ones.
