My media player, itunes, winamp are working fine. but when I go to You tube or any other website there is no sound. Well there is just a little bit when i turn my speakers to max. Tried on all web browsers.. even reinstalled windows and all drivers and it is still the same..
Any ideas ?

Seriously, have you done the usual checks via the Volume icon and also Sounds and Audio Devices in Control Panel for Muted sections or sliders set too low?

You also need to check that your on-board sound/sound card is set as the Default Device for all required uses.

Have you installed any audio and video codecs packs?

If not, download and install the K-Lite Full Codecs Pack from:

Install it and, from the drop down menu whilst doing so, choose Number 8 (Lots of Stuff without the Windows Classic Media Player).

If you want the WCMP then by all means include it via the menu.
