Sound "De-Mixing" Software Needed

  sbond 22:37 05 Jun 2003

Does anybody know if there is any software (or any other method will do) which will allow me to take a recording which had sounds A and B mixed up where I had a separate copy of sound A, but sound B was unknown. I then want to be able to remove sound A to leave the unknown sound B.

Sorry, it was the most simple way I could explain it.
