I'm trying to get back my Sound Card first off, I have uninstaled the onboard sound Drivers rebooted and went into the Bios to disabled the on board Sound and loaded into Windows Start --- Shut-Down I installed the card and its solid as a rock in place, when I boot into Windows its not being detected.

Is it likely a faulty Sound Card here??

"Is it likely a faulty Sound Card here??"

It's certainly possible, bearing in mind your problems on the previous thread.

Have you tried it in a different PCI slot?

Or better still can you try it in a different pc?

As far as I can see the 77.77 drivers are nVidia forceware drivers which wont support your graphics card.

Finding a source for legacy drivers for your Audigy card is not proving easy.

There's a couple on here click here (number 1 and 2) or you could try your original installation disc.

I would stick with the latest ones......though it wont do any harm to try older ones first and then update.
